A series of photographic prints exploring the intimacy of touch in doctor/patient relationships.
Commissioned for Invisible Body and produced in collaboration with gynaecologist Kathy Boursicot the images are inspired by text-book illustrations of physical medical examinations, re-staged and photographed in a manner which blurs the distinction between clinical precision and sensual ambiguity.
This series was exhibited in Skin (Wellcome Collection 2010) and is in the collection of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
