On Sunday 26 May, Heather is contributing to Artist and the Machine, an immersive day of talks, demonstrations and workshops exploring the ways in which machines can augment our creative abilities – all inspired by the AI: More than Human exhibition at the Barbican.

Heather is currently working on the research and development of The Realm: a project seeking to create immersive collective experiences. The VR project is a collaboration with Tengio, SHOAL group (Swansea University), Kampff lab (UCL), computational artist Andy Lomas and composer Heloise Tunstall-Behrens, funded by Innovate UK.

From August – December 2018 Heather contributed to the Open Set Fluid Rhythms project, a programme of situated research integrating the fields of arts, design, urban planning, performance, and humanities, centred on the ‘urban utopia’ of Bijlmer, Amsterdam.

In September 2018, Heather joined the Field_Notes Ecology of Senses residency at the Kilpisjärvi Biological Station in Lapland/Finland, with Bioart Society Finland.
